The Metro Parks Music Division provides recreational music opportunities to both students and enthusiasts in Nashville and surrounding communities.
Our Music Division offers learning opportunities for children, teens, adults and seniors. We emphasize an all-inclusive, relaxed approach to playing popular music. Our students are provided with technical instruction, a place to practice their craft with others and performance opportunities in festivals, celebrations and Metro Parks events throughout Music City. Many of our students have performed professionally in Nashville and around the nation as well as appearing on TV, radio and various multi-media venues.
In addition to serving musicians, the Metro Parks Music Division also serves music fans. Nashville is a city known for music and the Music Division is happy to reflect and encourage this prominent attribute by offering several free summertime concerts.
Donations to the the Metro Parks Music Division helps fund student scholarships, pay for guest instructors and cover the cost of free public concerts.
