Affordable, welcoming theater classes, productions, camps, rentals, and community programs for Nashville students, families, artists, and audiences.
We offer joyful, affordable theater experiences for youth and adults across Nashville, from classes and camps to full productions, community events, and performance opportunities. Our offices are located at Centennial Performing Arts Studios in Centennial Park, but our programming reaches across Metro Parks sites, including the Z. Alexander Looby Theater, the Centennial Black Box Theater, and community centers throughout the city.
Whether a student is stepping onstage for the first time, building confidence through improv, learning the magic of musical theater, stepping in front of the camera for film acting, or discovering the teamwork behind a full production, Metro Parks Theater is a place to explore, grow, collaborate, and belong.
Our classes and programs are led by practicing community artists and educators who help students build real theater skills while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and connection. We believe theater should be welcoming, accessible, and full of possibility for every age and experience level.
